Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING, a Sole Proprietorship registered in the Philippines with DTI Business Name No. 7771494 and principal office at 35 Purok 5, Irisan, Baguio City, 2600 Benguet, Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines ("Mint10Hobby", "we", "us", "our").

They govern your access to and use of https://mint10hobby.com and every service, event, storefront, and feature offered through it (the "Platform"). By creating an account, signing in, browsing, purchasing, bidding, or joining an event, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account, transact, or join an event. Users between 13 and 17 may browse and hold a collector account only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts responsibility for their activity. We do not knowingly provide services to anyone under 13. You must have the legal capacity to enter contracts and must not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law.

2. Accounts and sign-in

Collector, seller, and partner accounts are created through third-party sign-in with Facebook or Google. We receive only the profile information you authorise, as described in our Privacy Policy. Direct email and password sign-in is reserved for our own staff accounts.

• One person, one account. Duplicate or shared accounts may be merged or closed.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the security of the social account you sign in with.
• Seller and partner status is granted separately. Partner status is by invitation and personal vouching only, and may be withdrawn.
• Tell us at support@mint10hobby.com immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Our role as a marketplace

The Platform hosts two kinds of listings: items sold directly by MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING, and items sold by independent sellers and partner shops. Where an item is sold by an independent seller, the contract of sale is between you and that seller. MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING provides the marketplace, the payment-confirmation workflow, the moderation layer, and dispute assistance, but is not the seller of record for those items. The seller is identified on every listing and on every order.

4. Buying

• Prices are in Philippine Pesos (₱) and include applicable taxes unless the listing states otherwise.
• Listings describe condition, grading, and provenance to the best of the seller's knowledge. Graded slabs are described by the grading company's own label; we do not re-grade.
• Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Stock is committed when the order is placed, and a listing may sell out before you check out.
• We may cancel an order and refund you in full where a listing contained a material pricing or stock error, where the item is unavailable, or where the order appears fraudulent.

5. Payment

We currently accept GCash, Maya, bank transfer, and — for eligible e-commerce orders only — cash on delivery. Payments are confirmed manually: you upload proof of payment and our team verifies it before the order or event slot is released.

• Orders awaiting payment confirmation may be released back to stock after the stated payment window closes.
• Store credit and platform ledger balances are internal records of value. They are not electronic money, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable between accounts.
• You are responsible for paying from an account you control. Third-party payments may be refused.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping fees, packaging standards, and dispatch timelines are set by the seller of the item and shown before you confirm the order. Risk of loss passes on hand-over to the courier unless the law provides otherwise. Delivery estimates are estimates; courier delays, weather, and force majeure are outside our control. For items of significant value we strongly recommend an insured or trackable service.

7. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

• You may cancel an unpaid order at any time before payment is confirmed.
• Items that arrive damaged, materially different from the listing, counterfeit, or incomplete may be returned. Report the issue within seven (7) days of delivery with photographs of the item and packaging.
• Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method or, at your election, as store credit. Return shipping is paid by the seller where the seller is at fault.
• Because grading and condition opinions are subjective, change-of-mind returns on correctly described single cards, slabs, and sealed product are not guaranteed and are at the seller's discretion.
• Sealed product opened by you, items altered after delivery, and completed event pulls cannot be returned.
• Nothing here limits your rights under Republic Act No. 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines).

8. Auctions

• Every auction publishes a starting bid, a bid increment, and a Buy It Now price before it opens.
• A bid is a binding offer to buy. Winning bidders must complete payment within the stated window.
• Bids cannot be retracted once placed except at our discretion where an obvious keying error is reported immediately.
• Shill bidding, bidding on your own listing, and coordinated bidding are prohibited and will result in account action.
• Buy It Now ends the auction immediately and consumes the stock in the same operation.

9. Draft events

• A draft has a minimum of ten slots. The organiser publishes the slot price and the complete prize pool before slots open, and the number of prizes is always equal to or greater than the number of slots.
• Participants may buy one or more slots and must set a wishlist for each draft entered. By default the wishlist is ordered from highest to lowest published prize value, so an automatic pick always selects the best remaining prize if you miss your window.
• The draft opens once every slot is filled and paid. Pick order is determined by a published bracket format with no byes, and the result of every round is logged and reviewable.
• Picking begins at the time stated by the organiser — by default two hours after the pick order is determined. A prize can be claimed by only one slot; no prize is awarded twice.
• Once the draft closes, all results are published to participants for review.
• If a draft is cancelled before it opens, every paid slot is refunded in full.

10. Card breaks

• The break organiser publishes the exact product being opened, the break format, and the slot or team allocation method before slots open.
• Every slot must be paid before the break begins. Unpaid slots may be forfeited back to the pool.
• Breaks are streamed. Cards pulled to a slot belong to that slot holder, whatever their value. Shipping is arranged per slot.
• Stream outages, card damage inside sealed product, and manufacturer collation are risks inherent to breaking and are accepted by participants.

11. Selling and partner shops

• Sellers must list accurately, hold the stock they list, ship within the stated handling time, and honour their published shipping and return terms.
• Commission is charged on the goods subtotal of a sale only, never on shipping, at the rate stamped on your shop at the time of the sale.
• Subscription fees, listing limits, and event allowances are set out in your plan and may change on notice.
• Suspended, closed, unapproved, or vacation-mode shops cannot accept new orders. Existing orders remain fulfillable.
• Sellers are responsible for their own tax registration, receipting, and reporting obligations.

12. Prohibited items and conduct

You may not list, sell, or use the Platform to obtain:

• Counterfeit, reprinted, or misrepresented cards, slabs, or comics, including re-holdered or tampered grading cases.
• Stolen goods, or items you do not have the right to sell.
• Weapons, drugs, regulated substances, adult material, or anything unlawful in the Philippines.
• Anything structured as a lottery, raffle-for-profit, or game of chance.

You also may not:

• Take transactions off-platform to avoid commission, moderation, or buyer protection.
• Manipulate prices, ratings, bids, or the market index.
• Harass, threaten, dox, or scam other members.
• Scrape, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the Platform, or use it through automated means without our written permission.
• Impersonate any person, shop, or Mint10Hobby staff member.

13. Your content

You keep ownership of the listings, photographs, showcases, and posts you upload. You grant MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, and display that content for the purpose of operating, moderating, and promoting the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or required for legal, audit, or dispute purposes.

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

14. Moderation and account action

We operate a trust-tiered moderation system. Images are reviewed before publication, and posts from new or flagged accounts are held for review. We may hide, remove, or refuse content, and we may warn, restrict, suspend, or close an account where these Terms are breached, where there is a credible risk of fraud, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so we will tell you why and how to appeal. Appeals go to support@mint10hobby.com.

You may close your account at any time. Closure does not cancel obligations you already incurred, such as paying for a won auction or shipping a sold item.

15. Intellectual property

The Mint10Hobby name, logo, site design, software, and original content are owned by MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING. Card, comic, character, and set names and images belong to their respective publishers and rights holders. Nothing on the Platform grants you any right in those marks. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, write to legal@mint10hobby.com with the material in question, your proof of rights, and your contact details.

16. Third-party services

The Platform uses third-party services including Facebook Login and Google Sign-In for authentication, GCash and Maya for payment, courier partners for delivery, and streaming providers for live events. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

17. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Market index figures, estimated values, and price history are informational only, are drawn from recorded sales over stated date ranges, and are not investment advice, an appraisal, or a guarantee of future value. Collectibles can fall in value. You are responsible for your own purchase decisions.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING, its proprietor, staff, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of collectible value. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a transaction is limited to the amount you paid to us in respect of that transaction. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify MINT10HOBBY TOYS RETAILING against claims arising from your listings, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Please contact us first at support@mint10hobby.com — most disputes are resolved directly. Where a dispute cannot be resolved, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of Baguio City, Philippines, without prejudice to any right you have to bring a complaint before the Department of Trade and Industry or the National Privacy Commission.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

20. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the Platform develops. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date and, where the change significantly affects your rights, announced on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
